This Privacy Policy explains how Everex (“Everex”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use the Everex mobile application and related services (the “Platform”). Everex is a business-to-business online marketplace that lets sellers and buyers list solar panels and related products so that matching parties can be connected to complete transactions offline.

By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Who we are

The Everex Platform is operated by the Everex team. For privacy-related questions or requests, contact privacy@everex.tech.

Everex is intended for business users aged 18 and above. It is not directed at children, and the company does not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

2. Information we collect

The platform collects only information needed to operate the marketplace, connect buyers and sellers, and provide the features you use.

The platform automatically collects usage and activity data—actions taken on the Platform, such as listings created, matches, price downloads, and badge downloads.

Device and technical data is collected, including device type, operating system version, app version, and similar diagnostic information used to operate and secure the app.

The company does not collect government ID numbers or financial account numbers, and never publicly displays such data.

2.3 Location data

Location on Everex is user-selected: you choose a point or area from Google Maps to indicate where your business is based. The company uses this approximate, self-declared location to display on your profile and listings. The platform does not continuously track your device's precise background location.

3. How we use your information

Information is used to:

• Register and authenticate your account using WhatsApp OTP
• Publish and manage your listings on the marketplace
• Match buyers and sellers and connect matching parties so a deal can be discussed and closed
• Contact you (including via your WhatsApp number) about matches, deals, and service updates
• Send price alerts and provide downloadable content such as price sheets and your “Registered on Everex” badge
• Maintain the security, integrity, and proper functioning of the Platform
• Prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of terms
• Comply with applicable legal obligations

The company relies on your consent (which you give by providing optional information and using features) and on legitimate business interest in operating a functioning marketplace as the legal bases for processing.

4. How we share your information

Information is shared only as described below. The company does not sell your personal data.

4.1 With other users (counterparties)

Everex is a marketplace, so certain information is shared by design:

Your profile information you choose to make visible (business name, address, business card, profile picture, location) and your listings are visible to other registered users of the Platform.

When a buyer and seller match, the company facilitates the connection. This may involve sharing relevant contact details (including your WhatsApp number) with the matched counterparty, and/or the team contacting both parties, so the deal can be completed offline.

Users should only include information in their profile and listings that they are comfortable sharing with potential business counterparties.

4.2 With service providers

• WhatsApp / Meta—to deliver OTP messages and enable WhatsApp-based communication. Your use of WhatsApp is also governed by Meta's privacy policy.
• Google Maps / Google—when you select your location. Your use of Google Maps is also governed by Google's privacy policy.
• Hosting, infrastructure, and analytics providers—who process data on Everex's behalf under confidentiality obligations to run and maintain the Platform.

4.3 For legal reasons

Information may be disclosed where required by law, regulation, legal process, or a lawful government request, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Everex, its users, or the public.

4.4 Business transfers

If Everex undergoes a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.

5. Data retention

Personal data is kept for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Platform. After you delete your account, personal data is deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period, except where the company must retain certain records to comply with legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution obligations.

You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time:

• In the app: Profile → Delete Account
• By email: Contact privacy@everex.tech with the WhatsApp number linked to your account.

When you delete your account, your profile, listings, and associated personal data are removed, subject to the limited legal-retention exceptions described in Section 5. Confirmation will be provided once your request has been processed.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data the company holds about you
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data (you can update most profile data directly in the app)
• Delete your data (see Section 6)
• Withdraw consent for optional data or features
• Object to or restrict certain processing

To exercise any of these rights, contact privacy@everex.tech. The company will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Data security

Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used—including access controls, encryption in transit, and OTP-based authentication—to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

9. International data transfers

Everex is based in Pakistan. Some service providers may process data in other countries. Where data is transferred across borders, steps are taken to ensure it remains protected consistent with this Policy and applicable law.

10. Third-party links and services

The Platform integrates with and links to third-party services (such as WhatsApp and Google Maps). Everex is not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and users are encouraged to review their privacy policies.

11. Children's privacy

Everex is a B2B platform intended for users aged 18 and over. The company does not knowingly collect personal data from children. If it learns that data from a child has been collected, it will delete it promptly.

12. Changes to this Policy

This Policy may be updated from time to time. When material changes are made, the “Last updated” date will be updated above and, where appropriate, users will be notified through the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
